Financial wellness coaching for black women.
Financial wellness coaching for Black women seeking grounded, emotionally safe, and values-aligned support around money, investing, and sustainable wealth-building. I combine practical financial strategy with trauma-informed coaching to help women move from financial overwhelm to long-term clarity, confidence, and intentional wealth.
My Approach
You’ve worked hard to build your income, career, or business. On paper, things may even look successful. But behind the scenes, your relationship with money still feels heavier than you want it to.
Maybe you’re earning well but your savings still feel inconsistent.
Maybe investing feels intimidating, even though you know you should start.
Maybe you’re exhausted from carrying financial pressure, overthinking every decision, or constantly feeling like you have to “figure it all out” alone.
Or maybe traditional finance spaces have never fully felt safe, relatable, or aligned with your values in the first place.
If that resonates, you’re not behind.
You simply need support that understands both strategy and survival.
I’m Morgan Blackman, a holistic wealth coach, investor, and certified Trauma of Money facilitator. I help Black women and heart-led entrepreneurs build sustainable wealth through a grounded blend of financial strategy, emotional safety, and long-term wealth planning.
Not hustle wealth.
Not performative wealth.
Not “fake it till you make it” wealth.
Real wealth. Stable wealth. Intentional wealth.
The kind that allows you to rest, make choices from clarity instead of fear, and create a life that actually supports your wellbeing.
Why Financial Conversations Feel Different for Many Black Women
For many Black women, money is rarely just about math.
Money can carry layers of survival, responsibility, overworking, caregiving, generational pressure, and emotional exhaustion.
Many of us grew up witnessing financial instability, sacrifice, burnout, or silence around money. We learned to survive financially before we ever learned how to sustainably build wealth.
At the same time, traditional finance spaces often feel cold, judgmental, inaccessible, or disconnected from the realities many women face emotionally and culturally.
So even high-earning women can still feel:
anxious around money
behind financially
disconnected from their finances
afraid of investing
uncertain about long-term wealth planning
stuck in cycles of overworking and under-resting
As a Black woman in the financial wellness space, I deeply understand how vulnerable money conversations can feel, especially when you rarely see yourself reflected in traditional wealth-building spaces.
That’s why my work is designed differently.
My Approach to Financial Wellness Coaching
I believe sustainable wealth requires both structure and safety.
Financial strategy matters. Investing matters. Systems matter.
But emotional safety matters too.
Because if your nervous system does not feel safe holding money, resting, charging more, investing, or making empowered financial decisions, it becomes difficult to sustain the wealth you’re trying to build.
My work blends practical wealth-building strategy with deeper emotional awareness so clients can create financial clarity without abandoning themselves in the process.
Together, we may work through:
financial anxiety
money guilt
burnout and overworking
inconsistent saving habits
investing fears
nervous system patterns around scarcity
inherited money beliefs
long-term wealth planning
ethical and sustainable investing
budgeting and cash flow systems
business finances
wealth-building strategy
creating more financial autonomy and choice
This is not about becoming obsessed with money.
It’s about building enough stability, clarity, and capacity that your life no longer revolves around financial stress.
Wealth Is More Than Income
One of the biggest things I teach is this:
High income does not automatically create wealth.
Many women are earning more than ever before while still feeling financially overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unclear about what they’re actually building long-term.
Real wealth is about:
ownership
investing
intentional systems
long-term thinking
nervous system safety
sustainable decision-making
capacity
freedom
It’s the ability to pause without panic.
To rest without guilt.
To choose relationships, work, opportunities, and lifestyles from alignment instead of desperation.
That’s the kind of wealth I care about helping women build.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is holistic wealth coaching?
Holistic wealth coaching supports both the practical and emotional sides of money. My work combines financial strategy with conversations around nervous system safety, money beliefs, burnout, investing, and sustainable wealth-building.
Do you specifically work with Black women?
Yes. While my work is open to women from all backgrounds, many Black women and women of color feel especially drawn to my approach because I understand the emotional, cultural, and systemic layers that can shape our relationship with money.
Do you help with investing?
Yes. Investing is one of the core areas of my work. I help clients better understand investing, build confidence around wealth creation, and create long-term strategies aligned with their goals and values.
What makes your coaching different from traditional financial coaching?
Traditional financial coaching often focuses only on numbers and discipline. My work combines financial strategy with emotional awareness, nervous system support, trauma-informed facilitation, and values-aligned wealth-building.
Do I need to already be wealthy to work with you?
Not at all. Most of my clients are already earning income but want more clarity, consistency, confidence, and long-term strategy around their money and wealth-building.
